Services and history
The High Country Art Center, promotes, supports, and inspires all ages within the Blue Ridge area in North Carolina to open their creative side. We cultivate opportunities that elevate the recognition of aspiring artists, advocate economic equality, and celebrate art throughout our diverse community.
About:
We have art for collectors in our Art Gallery, Fun Art through Let's Be Artsy and Art Therapy for healing art.
Here you will learn how to paint or make crafts with step by step instruction! It's meant to be fun, NOT formal art classes.
We do have professional classes and professional training for anyone that wants to create. We host classes for educators and those learning!
Bring your friends, family or coworkers, your food and drink and enjoy creating fun!
This is a new company based here in North Carolina! Started and run by a Professor of Art, Angelia Wilson.
Angelia has been an artist her entire life and has been teaching for over 30 years. She is dedicated to helping others enjoy art in a fun and expressive way. Here you can learn how to find your creative side with no experience necessary.
People and culture
Our people are what make us unique. Each of us are trained artists with years of experience and the degree to assist our passion.
We are strong believers in giving our employees a voice. Each one has a say in the courses offered, the availability and the plan for events and growth in the business.
